Clint Eastwood plays a New Orleans cop who is on the trail of a sex murderer. However, it seems that they both share the same tastes when it comes to massage parlours and S and M games, and the lines between the pursuer and pursued become ever more blurred - with the finger of suspicion turning towards the cop himself. I myself have been having trouble staying awake while watching a movie lately. Anyway, while watching this movie, it was like the film clearly told me in the opening credits that the main storyline would be sleep, its motto would be sleep, starring sleep, music composed by sleep, and the whole thing has a kind of sleepy flow. The Loop was not such a bad movie, but the year, the era in which the film was shot, plus the fact that one commercial followed another during the movie, just didn't help me at all, and the result was that the word average perfectly describes this film.
