Plots(1)

The carcasscrunching action comes thick and fast. A pack of ghoulish predators entrap some ridiculously ill-prepared locals in a moody, malevolent mansion. Suffice to say, a mammoth amount of stomach-turning, meat-munching mayhem ensues. Only the golden age of Italian horror could have delivered a movie-meal of such outstanding insanity. (88 Films)

English The plot is, as you'd expect, about nothing, but the really cool zombie presence from beginning to end makes up for that. The make-up effects are good, the close-ups make the zombies look like worms are crawling from them, but the clothes they're wearing are too well preserved. They have those classic slow, clumsy movements, but otherwise surprise with their abilities. They know how to use an axe and a scythe, they can throw a shovel, climb a wall and even operate a circular saw. Very clever zombies. Probably some higher level of development :).... Quite a decent and sometimes quite brutal addition to the zombie genre. ()

English A ridiculous story, awful makeup, and a boring mess — this pretty much sums up this trashy film. Even by trash standards, it fails on every level. The film is "notable" only for introducing one of the most bizarre characters ever to hit the screen — Peter Bark. His scenes with his mother are the most memorable parts of the movie, but not in a good way. Some moments are really over the line. Bark’s childlike appearance gives his character’s creepy relationship with his mother a whole new level of weird — from kissing to biting off a nipple. And to top it off, he was 26 years old during filming! It's bizarre to the nth degree. I'll give it 1 star for director Andrea Bianchi's audacity to release such a grotesque disaster. ()
