Troma Entertainment, the company behind such classics as The Toxic Avenger, really outdid themselves with the 1987 cult classic Surf Nazis Must Die. Set in a futuristic California hell-hole, in which an apocalypic natural disaster has left the iconic Baywatch-perfect beaches of Malibu and Venice as gang-lands, various parties battle one another in an attempt to control the sand and sea of this former West Coast paradise. It don’t know, wasn’t this supposed to be fun? Not even Bela Tarr would make such a storyless film like this. And yet, the conflict between mad neo-Nazis and an angry mother from an old folks home sounded so promising. An incredibly unoriginal and restrained Troma.

The only thing that can attract attention to this film is its title. Troma really missed the mark here and didn't bring anything interesting or worth seeing. It's not fun, it's not particularly gritty, and it's just tiresome and empty.
