English For me, the main problem of the series was the fact that it was French. I've never been a fan of French cinema (with honorable exceptions). It felt like a wild, untamed ride, teeming with peculiar characters in a town where familial bonds trumped all, and where logic took a backseat. Still, I won't completely write off the series. It did have its moments of humor and intrigue, and just because it didn't win me over doesn't mean it couldn't charm someone else. / Lesson learned: When exploring an old mine, bring along your trusty sister for company. English The atmosphere of the legendary mysterious Purple Rivers mixes here with such a modern young adult horror, where in the very first episode you will find out why French youth is the least favorite across Europe. But in the end, you will get used to the main characters, even though they are crazy, weird, and insane. And besides, there is also a completely unnecessary gay scene, which probably could not be missing in a similarly themed horror crime series of Western character. But for the atmosphere, perfect setting of the Alpine foothills, and interesting subject, it is worth trying this series. I would even say that it has a pretty solid finale at the expense of the genre. So if you know what you're getting into, you should be satisfied. ()
