In "Sudden Fear" the legendary Joan Crawford portrays Myra Hudson, an heiress-turned successful playwright. When Myra becomes the toast of the town, she marries charismatic actor Lester Blaine. But what she believes to be a blissful marriage turns into a nightmare when Myra discovers that Lester wed her only for money and plans to kill her.
