An unexpectedly chilled drama about social work transformed into baseball training for kids. Reeves is the powerhouse of the movie, his transformation from frivolous gambler into a solid guy is rather schematic, but never mind. So, he’s good. Confrontation with realistic gangsta environment manages to squeeze a little emotion from the viewer, and that’s as it should be. Slightly above average. ()
