Controversial artist Vincent Osborne exhibits his artwork "The Seven Deadly Sins" – body parts moulded in plaster – in the Nossiter Gallery. When a fellow artist, drunken painter France Garcia makes an emotional protest "art is dead", Osborne's central exhibit crashes to the floor and Osborne or at least, his severed head and hands, are discovered inside his own work of art.
