Babysitter Chris (Elisabeth Shue) sets off to rescue her best friend Brenda from a seedy downtown Chicago bus stop, taking the neighbour's kids - the hormonal Brad, Daryl and nine-year-old Sara - along for the ride. Dodging the criminal elements of the inner-city while getting Brenda, the kids and the family Chevy home in one piece soon becomes a challenging objective. (Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment)

It's fine, but I actually preferred the newer version from Disney, even though I usually enjoy the 80s atmosphere and that style of filmmaking. It's a bit dark in places, but it always swings into a positive atmosphere. What surprised me the most was how Vincent D'Onofrio was a slim and muscular guy. The actors were too old for their roles.
