English These relatively light-hearted westerns were perfect for John Wayne and show that he excelled both in action-packed scenes and in more relaxed, entertaining ones. The color also suits him. But who really impressed me in the movie was Lee Marvin, whose character didn't have much screen time, but was definitely worth it. Brilliantly written and acted. ()

English A relaxing and quite entertaining western with a classic John Wayne and a number of unnecessary things serving only to stretch the plot, one of which is unfortunately the character of the semi-scalped Lee Marvin. With the original sound and uncut picture I would probably add one star, but because of the hideous TV dubbing (the central pair is spoken by Jiří Klem and Jiří Pomeje, try to imagine that hell) and the picture, I can't go higher.
