English Scott Pilgrim offers up a deluge of ideas, likable eccentricity and “fight” scenes that are easier to follow than those in most typical action movies. If today’s teenagers loved this more than superficial flicks in the vein of Twilight, the world would be a better place. ()

English After 5 minutes, I knew that this film would not be my cup of tea, and after 10 minutes, I realized that I was genuinely suffering. Nevertheless, as a typical weakling, I endured for another half hour, only to finally understand that every additional minute was an unequivocal waste of time and that there are plenty of more interesting activities in the world, starting with sex and ending with delicious food, to which I could give preference. Actually, anything deserves preference in this case. I could elaborate on the comic book aesthetics but it is influenced by a series of films that really appealed to me. I could go on about how this is a film aimed at the young generation, but so was Misfits, and I had a great time with that series. The best adjective to describe Scott Pilgrim is adolescent. Adolescently directed and tailored for teenagers. Furthermore, it is based on a stereotype and subsequently becomes boring. It had nothing to offer me, but undeniable professionalism compels me to give it one star. Overall impression: 25%. ()

English There are images that mature over time and there are those that never change. At the time of its creation, I couldn't wait for a movie with punk, rock, a bunch of nice guys playing, and settling scores with ex-partners in a video game style based on comic book themes. I persuaded my friends to go to the cinema and it turned into a nightmare for every local viewer. While the trailers were almost untouched, my friends had a good time and thanked me for the suggestion, I could only scratch my head, and I barely managed to reach an average rating with the irresistible Culkin and a huge amount of visual ideas in mind. I couldn't understand what such a collection of beautiful girls led by Envy and Ramona could or can see in a charisma-less wimp played by Michael Cera. Furthermore, I was disappointed by the repetitive fights, the ethically problematic ending; I just couldn't stop grumbling. Every time someone mentioned Scott in the following years, often in enthusiastic recollection of the unrestrained spectacle full of fun, I wondered why I wasn't meant to fight with Mr. Pilgrim. That's why I met him again after thirteen years - and it turned out exactly the same. I can't stand the main character, I don't understand the role of Knives in the plot, maybe only those beginning stars, who will be much more famous in the future, I perceive even more. I take the rerun as an unexpectedly necessary preparation for an animated series that tells the same story, but fortunately in a completely different way, but with this name, I won't be friends in the live-action format. English A film that I didn't expect anything from and watched almost by chance. I had an incredible time with it and was surprised by everything that unfolded. And then I also got to the comic, which surprised me even more. The film isn't a faithful adaptation, but it adequately incorporates the essential elements that make the comic so unique. A film that I truly enjoyed from start to finish, and I look forward to watching it again sometime. ()

English Unfortunately, it just made me more and more bored... I once tried to read “Scott Pilgrim," but the book seemed pretty useless to me and intended for people about a hundred years younger than me, and I must say that the adaptation is very much faithful in this regard. There are plenty of ideas here, though, because Edgar Wright is a toyer, but the plot didn't interest me at all from about halfway and I felt like the avalanches of all sorts of cool things primarily numbed and suffocated me.
