From the notorious Fabrizio De Angelis comes the ultimate in nature amok films. When a group of well-meaning scientists venture into the murky swamps of Santo Domingo, little do they know they are stumbling into a toxic nightmare. Local industrial barons have foolishly been pumping their waste into the water and this has given birth to a humongous reptilian monstrosity with an equally large appetite for human flesh. Featuring effects by the legendary Giannetto De Rossi, Killer Crocodile delivers all the thrills, spills and chills that any self-respecting fan of eco-horror demands. With performances from Anthony Crenna and Hollywood legend, Van Johnson, Killer Crocodile remains a firm cult favorite. (88 Films)

English Murder Alligator is a classic good B-movie that excels in how it plays with its limited options. But to see a model of a crocodile instead of some CGI beast is just priceless. You don't see that much nowadays. Moreover, there is very well-executed gore that doesn't shy away from truly gruesome amputations. The film is a B-movie, and in that regard, it's a pretty good one that can captivate fans of the genre. If you want something more, you should probably watch Jaws instead. But you won't find a crocodile in that film. ()
