Romantic teen comedy transposing the fairy tale of Snow White and the Seven Dwarves into a modern US college setting. Amanda Bynes stars as Sydney White, a beautiful young student who pledges her allegiance to her late mother's once dignified sorority when she starts college on a scholarship. But she soon realises that sorority life is far from what it was in her mother's day, and decides to find a home outside the college. Another classic American cliché served up in the form of a (unexpectedly!) romantic comedy based on the fact that it is clear from the beginning how it all ends. The disgraced "Snow White" runs away from the cruel "Queen" and is offered a helping hand by a group of "7 dwarfs", who are unfamiliar with the word reason. And then she is rescued by a prince (sadly, there was no white horse) and they live happily ever after. Well, that's how you could conceive of this modern "fairy tale", or rather bland movie with bland actors, distinctive music and the occasional funny scene.
