English I don't understand the Golden Raspberry mania surrounding this film at all. Of course, it's another American romantic cliché, where you can guess from the beginning how it's going to turn out. Sandra Bullock may not have given the most convincing performance according to the raspberry jury, but I thought she was what her Mary should have been: chatty, goofy and with a head full of Steve. I'd stuff a raspberry in Cyrus's mouth. Like I said, Sandra's had better roles, but she didn't deserve this kind of disgrace. I have to really commend the snappy and catchy soundtrack, it was truly unmissable. The premise is a bit wacky, but it's balanced by a surprisingly thoughtful script. ()

English A bunch of nonsense with no real story, but I was madly entertained!!! Sandra Bullock, as the insane Mary with her horrible boots, was really convincing. I think the stylists and madmen really got into it... wow. ()

English I must admit that this wasn’t all that bad. Thomas Haden Church’s character is fun; maybe for the first time ever. Actually, the entire movie is fun. Scenes with him are the funniest thing this movie has to offer. Sandra Bullock may look like a mulatto straight out of a ghetto, but you are willing to forgive her for this cringiness, because when you look at the production year, you realize that she’d also been shooting The Blind Side where her talent made all of our jaws drop. So, in the end, it’s all good. It’s a useless mediocre romance in some places and in others, a silly comedy that can however lift your spirits in almost any situation. ()
