English OK, Jakub, repeat after me: “Don’t watch Asian horror! You already know well that it’s boring…” Once again, I succumbed to my curiosity and the passionate reviews and I procured this pretty promising looking Korean film. My God! Why do they make it so complicated? Why is it two hours long? Why do all the characters look the same ( :-D)? Basically, with The Guard Post I had the same problems as with other horror stuff from the east. On the other hand, I have to admit the execution is very nice and that there are even a few interesting bloody moments, which brings my rating to an at least decent 5/10. ()

English Weird movie, I like horror movies about a closed okace with a group of people, soldiers in this case, and there is an aggressive virus that makes them kill each other. The film even has a high budget, perfect gore scenes, fine action, cool make-up effects, but the two hour running time hurts the film. There were a few deaf spots, the suspense was also very lacking here, so because of the pacing I didn't enjoy the film much, which is a shame. Formally a very decent affair. 60% ()
