English Solid dark thriller like from the 90s. I wasn’t expecting much, it’s a film with a very decent cast, but the internet was suspiciously quiet about it, which is never a good sign… but in the end I’m pretty pleasantly surprised. In short, a nice thriller snack. The last twist felt rather unconvincing, but it does get a point because I didn’t see it coming. A strong three. ()

English A typical thriller, the kind I'm happy to dive into without any persuasion, all I want is at least a basic plot, suspense and action. The story is inspired by a real-life criminal who kidnapped prostitutes, so the simple premise is taken care of, plus some classic detective investigation and a final clash. Unfortunately, there is a bit of a dead passage in the middle where investigations and questions are asked, but the plot lacks any significant momentum to give the film a second wind. By the finale, it then just "catches up" and serves up a twist that is surprising, but doesn't impress significantly. Simple, average, but it didn't grab me in any significant way. I was expecting a bit more. ()
