English Considering that James Mason took the lead role, although the main character here is a woman, I expected a grand acting performance. James Mason is great once again, but story-wise, the film didn't really resonate with me. The beginning is good, but afterward, it rides on a rather weak wave and fails to captivate the viewer. The ending doesn't save it either. ()
