My apologies to Coppola for the weak rating, but I was unable to finish this nonsense with an overweight baroque angel in the main role. Objectively, perhaps it’s not that that bad, but it’s been a long time since I disliked something so much. ()
By the time you finish watching B'Twixt Now and Sunrise, you will feel that you have been deprived of something. Besides being just under an hour and a half, it could also benefit from a more substantial plot and better plot development. The film heavily relies on visuals and effects, but you still can't shake off the feeling at the end that Coppola simply didn't handle it well and was filming because it amused him, not necessarily because it would entertain others. It's a shame because the opening was interesting. ()
