In this fast paced action thriller, Paul Walker stars as Michael Woods, a down and out ex-con desperate to turn his life around. With one last chance to salvage his relationship with his estranged girlfriend, he breaks his parole to visit her to try and fix what they have left. A mix up with the car rental company leaves Michael stuck with the wrong car, but his problems are only just beginning. When he finds that the car contains a silenced gun and a hostage hidden in the back, Michael realises he is way out of his depth, and soon finds himself on a dangerous collision course with the corrupt and powerful Chief of Police. I quite like these one-man show films where the responsibility lies on one actor, and the other actors just play supporting characters. Paul Walker handled it with grace, even though it's simply a variation of The Fast and the Furious in the sense that the guy knew how to drive well. The script isn't anything great, but the movie rolls along and keeps you curious about how it will turn out.
