In the heart of Paris, a kind and eccentric millionairess wills her entire estate to Duchess, her high-society cat and her three kittens. When her greedy, bumbling butler attempts the ultimate catnap caper, the rough-and-tumble alley cat Thomas O’Malley and his band of swingin’ jazz cats must save the day. It’s the purrfect blend of comedy and adventure. (Disney / Buena Vista)

A Disney romp with a simple story and a wide pallet of great characters. The dogs on the motorbike/sidecar with their Laurel and Hardy slapstick and Uncle Waldo were great fun. Beautiful animation, almost sickly sweet romantic storyline, snappy one-liners and comebacks. It isn’t a complete classic, but it reminds one of the days when Mickey didn’t always choose the safe road, and wasn’t afraid to experiment. We're not chickens. We're geese. ()
I thought it would be the classic story where the fancy cat lady would be snobbish and not want the streetwise guy, but in this regard, the romance is actually quite different and very beautiful, which pleased me. Otherwise, it's a classic Disney story that is simply beautifully straightforward. However, I more than liked the drawing. ()
