Chasing the Wind

Rene Langlo is an acclaimed director who returns home to the shore of Trøndelag in the story of a successful designer, Anna. Beautiful imagery and detailed portraits of the characters combine melancholy and very precisely observed rough humor of the local life, which the main protagonist left behind long time ago. Anna has lived in Berlin for 10 years, but the past suddenly bursts into her perfect life – in the form of a phone call about her grandmother's death. Anna's German boyfriend, who knows almost nothing about her family, persuades her to go and help with the funeral. It is not only her silent, irksome grandfather awaiting her, but also the village where everything is unpleasantly familiar yet different at the same time.
