Plots(1)

Profesional poker player Jack Daniel (George Eads) is skating by in life on his good looks and natural charm. Until now he's managed to hustle enough playing poker and taking odd jobs to keep himself from hitting rock bottom, but debts and supporting his ex-wife have begun to wear him down. To make matters worse he owes money to bookie Paulie Trunks, (Seagal) a guy you don't want to disappoint. With Paulie's right hand man (Jones) on his back, Jack has only one move left, an unlikely play that poker players know only as a last resort– chasing the gutshot straight. Playing this hand will either redeem him or destroy him, but he's got no choice. Everything Jack cares about, including his life, depends on Jack's willingness to beat them at their own game. English If I'm not mistaken, this is the first film where we see George Eads outside of his role in CSI. The film starts off well, with interesting actors appearing, but then it just stalls midway, and the creators seem to run out of material to film. You just suffer through to the end. ()
