Banshee Chapter really stays afloat, and so you can manage the less than an hour and a half quite calmly and enjoy it without having to suffer in any way. Yes, it's found footage and the special effects is very weak, you won't see anything here, but the form of the story fits, and if the reveal wasn't so awkward, it would climb to a higher rating. I'm glad someone still has ideas on how to make found footage a little more lively. It's not great, but the possibilities are there and maybe someone will actually use them. ()
The solid approach to an interesting mythology and the surprising atmospheric strength of several scenes overcome the stupidity of the story, which at times is crushing. It’s not “found-footage” for most of it, but you still see fuck-all. Next time, I hope you get a better script, Mr Erickson. 5/10 ()
