After stealing a microchip worth $50 million, a high-Tech terrorist team hides it in a toy dune buggy which is accidentally taken at airport security by a cranky old lady and given to a neighbor kid, who, home alone with chicken pox, watches the terrorists' progress as they break into every house on the street, realizing he has what they're looking for. English A group of adults is chasing after a remote-controlled car like lunatics, with its control range unbelievably long, going through walls and who knows what else. Yes, the plot compares unfavorably to the classic two films with Macaulay Culkin, which unfortunately doesn't change the fact that it's quite stupidly decent. One wouldn't even believe that John Hughes was one of the screenwriters. The actors here are terrible, all of them, though the presence of young Scarlett Johansson is the only thing that pleases. ()
