Brothers Miles (Drew Roy) and Liam West (Shane Coffey) are broke. The family business is bankrupt and they cannot pay the mooring fees for their boat, making them desperate for money. They come up with a plan to fake Miles' disappearance on Sugar Mountain then sell the story when he appears out of the wilderness several days later. The local sheriff Jim Huxley (Cary Elwes) begins to poke holes in the scheme while local heavy Joe Bright (Jason Momoa) puts on the pressure to recover a personal debt owed by Miles. (101 Films)

No. A specific underscore with string instruments, snow, a suspicious policeman, and unsympathetic characters whose deceptions turn against them don’t make a second Fargo. Momoa revives it a few times with his presence, but he might have done better for the viewer and the film’s reception if he had run the central trio through a wood chipper. The blonde Anna Hutchison was exactly the type who would crawl on the supermarket floor looking for low prices.

I was expecting it to be even worse, but this movie functions as a pretty good drama. It's only a thriller at times, mainly in the scenes featuring Momoa, who really suits the role of the madman excellently. The theme of truth and lies didn't make a big impression on me here, or rather, its treatment, and I happen to like this theme.
