Northern Soul is the story of a youth culture in the 1970’s, which changed a generation. No longer satisfied with the prospect of a small town life and a factory production line two young boys dream mof going to America to discover rare records which will help them become the best DJ’s on the scene. Good music and an interesting, ultimately romantic story that shows what life was like in 1970s Britain. The characters are intriguing, just like the period in which the story is set. It won't suit everyone, but I quite liked this one. It's not high art, but does it really matter when you just need to soak in the atmosphere a bit?
