It's clear I'm not going to be a fan of this series. The plot leaves a lot to be desired. The dialogue, however, is hilarious. At one point, we're told two legions were lost in a battle with rebels, and moments later, we hear that the baron's squad was attacked by fifty villagers. Fascinating!
