The train's colonel (John Wayne) jails the enemy leaders (Jorge Rivero) but the three men later become friends when the war ends. Together they seek the Union traitors responsible for a string of Confederate train robberies, a mission that culminates in a rousing shoot-'em-up finale. English It's a great film from an earlier era of Wayne when he wasn't churning out as many movies per year. It didn't matter at all because, in every film from the 70s, you can really see how much Duke enjoyed filming. Every now and then, he dared to tackle some tougher scenes, as he did in this film, but above all, it's just the right kind of movie that I really enjoy. ()
