Acting legend Brian Cox plays legendary actor Sir Michael Gifford in this feel-good comedy about the unlikely relationship between a famous thespian and his immigrant caregiver. Alas, Sir Michael's salad days are behind him and he's now suffering from an incurable illness. Since he insists on remaining in his palatial manor house in the Kent countryside, his daughter Sophia and longtime companion Milly hire various carers, but Sir Michael takes against them all – until he finally clicks with Hungarian expat Dorottya (a spirited debut by Coco König). Dorottya comes from an artistic family and has a burning desire to make it on the English stage, although her English skills are lacking. It's worth the price of admission to hear Brian Cox playing Shakespeare. Hungarians everywhere should be gratified since the script (the last one penned by the late critic and novelist Gilbert Adair) gets a lot of comic mileage out of Dorottya's attempts to educate the Brits about the Magyars and their accomplishments.
