The Warriors are ready to fight their way back to Coney Island, but standing in their path are some of the baddest, out-for-blood gangs in New York City. It'll take every bit of street smarts and every weapon they can find to make it back alive! (Paramount Home Entertainment)

English It’s quite boring, despite the fact that this whole nourishing walk through gangster territory is soaked to the bone with testosterone. Hill is comfortable with a world where men rule through hard power and women are put in the roles of whores, traitors, or both. Unfortunately, it's annoying that apart from the more substantial plot, the script doesn't offer up any proper action (let’s be honest, the Warriors just keep running away), or even something to remember. Adrenaline at zero. ()

English “Warriors! Come out to play-ay!” The 30 miles to Coney Island are ridiculous, but in such a charming way that even Reagan’s projector in Camp David grew fond of them. The strict adherence to dress code suggested that everyone should settle things on the catwalk, and at times, I felt it might turn into a musical, but the duo of Walter Hill and Andrew Laszlo managed to capture the gritty magic of New York, which I enjoyed as much as the comic book setup or the presence of Alex’s crew, who also liked to kill time with booze and kicking cans. Poor Little David Patrick Kelly. When he recovers from the beating, buys a decent suit with a tie and a yellow Porsche with a self-repair system, he’ll have his path crossed by Arnie and be bumped down the list. ()

English A simple idea, but one that was exploited to the max. Virtually unknown actors in front of the camera, action specialist Walter Hill behind it, unpredictable gangs, and also a hardly predictable story that can turn out in any way. I enjoyed it. ()

English The 80's are kicking off in grandiose style and The Warriors are just dripping with bad taste. Fortunately, it's all pretty decently shot and the action is fast-paced. ()
