After her husband of 23 years leaves her for another woman, middle-aged mother Deanna Miles (Melissa McCarthy) decides to go back to college to finish her archaeology degree. She enrols herself in the same college and joins the same sorority as her daughter, senior student Maddie (Molly Gordon), and the pair find themselves constantly crossing paths as Deanna revels in the college lifestyle she gave up more than two decades ago for her family. Melissa McCarthy is one of the few actresses I like for her acting and not for her looks. Her humor suits me and I had a few good laughs here. The film has a pretty original premise too, it's set in a school, something I never get tired of, so a fine flick for a better 3. 65%.
