Nigerian-born Femi (Tai Golding) has been brought up in rural Lincolnshire by his foster carer Mary (Denise Black), however, when his biological mother Yinka (Gbemisola Ikumelo) returns, Femi is brought to London to live with her. As a teenager Femi (Sam Adewunmi) struggles to connect with his mother and finds himself getting involved in fights at school and also mixing with petty criminals and drug dealers. Will Femi be able to forgive his mother and find a true sense of place? (Picturehouse Entertainment)
