Truth Be Told feels like someone took an episode of Cold Case and stretched it out into eight parts. It’s a decent enough detective series, but compared to the quality of today’s shows, it’s pretty average. That said, Octavia Spencer was solid, so I might give the next season a shot. We’ll see.
