Creepshow

George A. Romero directs this tribute to the D.C. comics of the 1950s, a film split into five horror stories linked by a sub-story about a young boy reading the tales in a comic book. Hal Holbrook, Adrienne Barbeau, E.G. Marshall and Leslie Nielsen all make appearances, as does writer Stephen King, who plays a man attacked by a weird plant. (Second Sight)
