Jim Carrey plays timid bank clerk Stanley Ipkiss, who, after being chucked out of a nightclub one sad evening, happens across a Nordic mask in the river which transforms him into a wise-cracking, zoot-suited green-faced super-comic-hero. With his new-found charm and powers, which include infinite malleability of his own body, Stanley chats up the gorgeous woman of his dreams (Cameron Diaz), robs his own bank, outwits the cops and demolishes the local hoods, also finding time to perform some rather nifty dance routines. English I personally see this as a legendary comedy that introduced me to Jim Carrey and Cameron Diaz. And while Jim was there for me my entire childhood and provided me with amusement on several occasions, Cameron continues to be a part of my life along with her beauty. Also, this is the only movie I’ve rented every time I didn’t know what else to rent… that is until I bought the VHS myself and I still have it at home today. :-) ()

English The best Jim Carrey film and one of the best comedies I've ever seen (and one I might possibly have included in the top twenty films ever when I was fifteen), moreover with the unbeatable and dubbing in the Czech version by Bohdan Tůma. The first appearance of Cameron Diaz when she enters the bank always mezmerized me during puberty... and, actually, it still does. 100% just for being exactly the kind of movie you loved when you were younger and never grow tired of.
