English This is different from the first chronicle, aimed at a kids’ audience, but of a length more suitable for adults. I found these two aspects rubbed me up the wrong way, as did the main baddie whose character was a little too one-dimensional. But this is made up for by Mr and Mrs Claus. The scenes where they appear are entertaining and there’s excellent chemistry between them. They are simply great actors. But this just an average, but cute Christmas comedy that will brighten your evening. ()

English A bit of a letdown, to be honest. The first Christmas Chronicles was a delightful surprise, with a charming holiday story and the fantastic duo of Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn. But the second one? It leans way more into being a full-on kids' movie. What surprised me even more is that it’s directed by Chris Columbus, who knows his way around holiday magic. Despite the occasional vibes reminiscent of Harry Potter and Home Alone, it just doesn’t click this time. The whole thing felt so over-the-top silly that I was honestly just waiting for it to end.
