Diet Hard. While McClane sweated, bled, suffered, and then headed to a shoe store, in this film, the heroine, who doubles her weight by donning a uniform, tackles terrorism with ridiculous ease and without any wardrobe losses. Check off the genre clichés, congratulate yourself on guessing the security guard’s zodiac sign, and pity Aksel Hennie for having to hit the gym again for this role. Jean Reno tries to be Hans Gruber, but the result is a clueless Mr. Egg.
