Bande à part, Godard's playful reimagining of the Hollywood crime films of the 1940s, follows Franz and Arthur (Sami Frey and Claude Brasseur), a couple of young misfits who team up with the shy Odile (Anna Karina), and whose plans to burgle a rich old lady go tragicomically wrong. Shot in just 25 days on the wintery streets of suburban Paris, Bande à part remains one of Godard most loved films, and is often remembered for its exhilarating café dance sequence and famous race through the Louvre.
