English I initially deleted this film, then downloaded it again a month later according to a friend's review, and I did the right thing. Momentum reminded me of Taken in its style and pace. The cards are dealt on the table more or less from the beginning and the film paces decently to the end with the excellent Olga Kurylenko reliably handling the role of the agent both in terms of intelligence and fights. There's quite a lot of action, it's decently filmed and finely bloody, and there's no shortage of good villains. The final twist is more gratifying than shocking, but in this entertaining action B-movie one can tolerate a lot. Great fun and a surprise. 75%. ()

English An action-packed film where you can truly turn off your brain, enjoy a fairly decent visual experience, and performances on a solid level (the confrontation between Olga Kurylenko and James Purefoy didn't feel too predictable, and their dialogues were quite sharp). But mainly, don't judge the movie solely based on the story, as it doesn’t offer much. The screenwriter just throws one cliché after another, with no surprising situations that could lead to a 180° twist. In terms of audio-visuals, it doesn’t lag behind more famous Hollywood blockbusters, but it's still just a high-quality B-movie (I don't quite get the high budget). The action is shot well, though I might have limited the amount of cuts; from time to time, it was hard on the eyes, and the viewer could only see a tangle of bodies, unable to tell who was who. Purefoy nailed it, and I didn't even mind his single stoic expression. The ending hinted at a sequel, but I doubt that will happen. Still, I wouldn’t be offended by a second one. And Freeman's small appearance was a pleasant surprise. I give it 63%. ()

English If you're into B-movies, this one is pretty well-packed, and you'll get what you're looking for in it. Some gritty scenes, and action-packed spectacle, a few twists, and actors you like. James Purefoy surprised me quite a bit in this one, and his character as the killer and torturer was very interesting. Morgan Freeman, unfortunately, is more of an ornament. ()
